These youth delegates, who are also CJFI volunteers in their respective countries, prepared a feast for all the CJFI beneficiaries and spent the whole day with them, enjoying different kinds of activities and merriment.  Sis. Teresita Dandan, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ’s International Administrator, also attended the said event.

But it didn’t end there, because the volunteers also gave the CJFI beneficiaries a new 40 inch wide LCD television set and many box-full of school supplies that’ll surely be used by the kids on the opening of the next school year.

The CJFI Executive Director, Rosemarie N. Dimagnaong and the whole CJFI staff and beneficiaries were all thankful and grateful to all the youth delegates of the foreign lands for their support and being one with the cause of the foundation and its Founding President, Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, “To Feed, Clothe, Shelter and Send to School Three Million Filipino Children in the Philippines.”

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy has a big heart for the children. And because of his desire to see every child’s smiling face and his longing to make a manifestation of the every child’s fantasy, it had made him create a very special occasion that they will never forget, a celebration of every child’s birthday in their very own dreamland, the National Children’s Day.

Since 2005, on the 25^th of April, a Davao City-based replica of the world’s most renowned amusement park, the Sonshine Land, is being opened for the children and their families as well where they will experience a magical day of fun and excitement.

Pastor Apollo’s desire is that no child shall ever go hungry.  He envisions a world free of poverty, where children have access to all the basic services, and where they can exercise all their rights and privileges as children. That is why food has always been an essential part of his programs.

And every year, Sonshine Land’s provision for its birthday celebrants was an unlimited supply of food and other goodies, especially full meals, a special treat for children who barely have anything to eat all day.

The celebration of NCD holds different surprises and excitement that will overwhelm many children for the thrilling rides inside Sonshine land that they can ride without limits! Plus, the freebies inside are non-stop! Free toys, free milk, free candies and a lot more. It’s a typical manifestation of a child’s fantasy.

Not only that but they can even witness a grand and magical parade where they can see the magical characters of Sonshine land especially the beautiful princesses that will give them bright smiles. It will surely be a moment that they will never forget.

The unceasing of support from the Children’s Joy Foundation Inc. sponsors and benefactors from various companies, individuals who were all willing to extend help with open arms and kind-hearted people who shared Pastor Apollo’s great cause made the celebration of this grand birthday party possible every year.

This year, the children are to expect a grander and bigger celebration of the National Children’s Day, with lots of surprises installed to make this one-day fantasy even more magical.
